Having returned to the Church I am now seeking my White Stone Name (Rev 2:17). Some time ago I watched the BBC short series The Monastery. During that series one of the men had a talk with his spiritual director. He was one of the greatly wounded (as were all who went there) and his experience before Christ was a difficult process towards healing. In the middle of this gentle talk father reached into his pocket and pulled out a small white stone which he placed in the other man's hand. He explained that this was a symbol of the true name this man could receive from God.
It hit me hard that moment. My own wounds were still very sore and I was struggling with not knowing who God wanted me to be. It was as though a gentle voice whispered through my screaming pain; "You too could have a white stone name."
So here I am-seeking it.

How about "investigo albus" (searching out white) or "sensus albus" (senses white)?
