It is the solemnity of the Sacred Heart today. In fact June is the month of the sacred Heart. I love that-no longer the month of some daft Roman goddess, but rather the month of Jesus the Bridegroom who loves us so much.I heard Mother Angelica t'other night point out that so many people are lonely and looking for someone to love them and fail to realise they are loved, with a love more generous than anything mere human love can offer.
Turn to Him then, and bask in that love.
